“Growing up in Greenfield WI, of blue-collar parents, my parents taught me the value of hard work and self-sufficiency. These values, along with my role as an elected official and my 40 years living in the district have given me the experiences needed to be a strong voice to represent us in Madison. I will continue to listen to the people in the 13th District while I work to secure individual prosperity through skills and workforce development. I will also work hard to secure the prosperity of our towns, villages, and cities by fighting for the proper tools to grow and evolve."

Tom has served his community for decades before he was elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Tom has 18 years of service in the Elm Grove Volunteer Fire Department, putting the needs of his community first.
​
Tom has also served 5 years on the Waukesha County Technical College Board, advocating for educators teaching in-demand skills to move Wisconsin forward.

Tom currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the Workforce Development Committee, and serves on the Committee on Local Government, Committee on Veterans and Military Affairs, Committee on Colleges and Universities, and the Committee on Government Accountability and Oversight.

In a time where partisanship halts progress, Tom works to do what needs to be done.

In his 2 years in the assembly, Tom worked with Democrats and Republicans alike to pass 15 bills that he authored or co-authored into law.
He was also the cosponsor of an additional 22 Senate Bills that were signed into law.
Tom gets things done for the people of Brookfield, Elm Grove, and Wauwatosa.

Elected by the people in 2022, Tom is your current representative in the 13th Assembly District.

In 2023, Tom reached out to every household in the 13th district to hear how he should represent them in Madison.

The 13th district was redrawn since 2022 to include parts of Wauwatosa, meaning many of you will be represented by Tom for the first time.
